The first of the two races in Sepang will get underway on Saturday 13 December, which is just 150 days from today.  The 4 Hours of Sepang is the opening round of the 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series and will see two 4-hour races on the 5.543km circuit near Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, the first on Saturday 13 December and the second on Sunday 14 December 2025.

In December 2023 Sepang returned to the ALMS schedule for the first time since February 2020, with Ahmad Al Harthy, Nikita Mazepin and Louis Deletraz winning the opening race of the weekend for 99 Racing.  The LMP3 victory went to COOL Racing and GT was won by Sainteloc Racing, the French team leading an Audi R8 podium lockout.

Race 2 was held on Sunday 3 December and was won by eventual champions George Kurtz, Colin Braun and Malthe Jakobsen in the no4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR Gibson-Oreca.  CD Sport took the honours in LMP3, while the no92 Pure Rxcing Porsche won the GT class, less than a second ahead of the winners of race 1.

In 2024 Sepang International Circuit once again hosted the season opener, with Swiss team RD Limited winning on their international LMP2 debut.

James Allen, Tristan Vautier and Fred Poordad taking the win just 0.055s ahead of the no83 AF Corse Oreca in second place.  The no35 Ultimate Ligier-Nissan took the win in LMP3, with the no57 Car Guy Ferrari 296 heading a Ferrari 1-2 at the end of the four-hour race.

Malthe Jakobsen secured his second win in Sepang in two years when he took the chequered flag in the no25 Algarve Pro Racing Oreca to stand on the top step of the podium with Michael Jensen and Valerio Rinicella.  The APR Oreca finished 25 seconds ahead of the no30 RD Limited, with Algarve Pro Racing claiming a second podium with the no20 car coming home in third.

Bence Valint, Stephane Lemeret and Matteo Quintarelli made in two from two for the no35 Ultimate Ligier in LMP3, finishing a lap ahead of the rest of the class field.  The GT victory went to the no81 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3, finishing 4 seconds ahead of the no10 Manthey Porsche 911 GT3 R.
