In just one month’s time the 2024/25 Asian Le Mans Series will get the green flag with the first of two 4-hour races on the awesome 5.5km Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia on Saturday 7th December.
This year also marks the 10th visit to Sepang by the Asian Le Mans Series and the second time since the enforced absence in 2021 and 2022 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
With 45 cars entered for the 2024/25 Asian Le Mans Series the opening two races in Malaysia promise to be full of drama and on track action.
All of the lap records were broken last year, with three-time ELMS champion Louis Deletraz lowering the LMP2 lap time to 1m52.991, Fabien Lavergne posting a 2m01.695 in LMP3 and Joel Sturm setting a new time in GT of 2m05.507.
The 4 Hours of Sepang weekend begins on Thursday 5th December with two test sessions in the afternoon. There are two 90-minute Free Practice sessions on Friday starting at 13h00 (local) and 16h00 respectively.
